Škoda Enyaq by VIN: Battery Size, Heat Pump and Every Factory Option

On a used electric car, the battery and the heat pump matter more than the colour. An Enyaq's VIN shows both.

What matters on a used Enyaq

Two Enyaqs can look identical and still differ in the things that decide range and winter comfort: the size of the battery, whether a heat pump was fitted, and whether the car has rear- or all-wheel drive. None of that is visible from the outside, but all of it is in the factory record.

Why the battery code matters

The battery code is the clearest way to tell the versions apart. Our Enyaq records show 55, 62 and 82 kWh gross batteries, and a bigger battery means more range, so the code tells you which car you are really pricing.

Check an Enyaq by VIN

Ask the seller for the 17-character VIN — on an Enyaq it starts with TMB — and check it before you view the car. Like every Škoda, the Enyaq uses PR codes; see Škoda PR codes explained.
