VW, Škoda & SEAT PR Codes Explained (Decode by VIN)
One option-code system runs across VW, Audi, Škoda, SEAT and CUPRA. Here's how PR codes work and how to decode yours.
What are PR codes?
PR codes (Primärrückmeldung) are the Volkswagen Group's factory option codes. Every Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda, SEAT and CUPRA is built to a list of them — each short code standing for one fitted option, stored against the car's VIN.
One system, every VW Group brand
Because the brands share a parts system, the same PR-code logic decodes them all. See the dedicated pages for Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda and SEAT.
What VW Group PR codes cover
